Hi. I'm Alec, a singer-songwriter living in Nashville, Tennessee.
My life isn’t perfect. I struggle my way through life more than I like to admit. So I write songs to help grapple with and make the best of it, because if I’m being honest, I’m too optimistic and too hopeful not to.
I’ve been told I’m a glutton for punishment, but I just see myself as relentless. Relentless about love. Because in a world where choosing love can be hard, and there’s not as much of it as there could be (should be), I just don’t see any other way.
For me, choosing love means choosing gratitude, empathy, compassion, optimism, and hope. It means taking my story, turning it into art, and sharing it with people like you. And it means connecting to life in the most meaningful way possible in hopes that it encourages others to do the same. It’s my hope that my stories, handwritten in half-sized notebooks and brought to life by my piano, can be the soundtrack that helps bring out the relentlessly loving side of you as well.
